How the Inuvi App Collects, Uses, and Shares Data

The Inuvi mobile application (“the App”) collects and processes only the minimum data required to complete a Lifelight® remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) scan. This section explains how the App accesses, collects, uses, stores, and shares data. 

1. Data the App Collects

The App does not collect your name, address, phone number, email address, or any other direct identifiers. 

The App only collects the following limited categories of data: 

a. Demographic data you provide 

Used solely to support the accuracy of the health measurement algorithms: 

  • Age
  • Sex 
  • Height

These values are not used to identify you and are kept only long enough to complete the scan and provide your result. 

b. Camera signal data for the Lifelight scan 

To generate measurements such as pulse rate and blood pressure, the App uses the device’s front-facing camera to analyse subtle colour changes in your face. 

  • The camera captures a short sequence of images to extract a non-identifiable signal. 
  • Images/video are processed in real time and not stored or saved. 
  • The App does not create or store facial recognition templates or biometric identifiers.
     

c. Technical and device data 

Used only for performance and diagnostics: 

  • Device model and OS version 
  • Basic network information 
  • App performance and crash data

No device identifiers are collected for advertising or tracking. 

2. How the App Uses Your Data

The App uses your data only for: 

  • Performing the Lifelight rPPG health scan 
  • Displaying your measurement results directly to you 
  • Ensuring the App functions correctly and securely 

The App does not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

3. How Your Data Is Shared

a. Measurement results 

Your measurement results are not shared with anyone other than you. They are displayed only within the App on your device.

b. Processing partners 

Certain data is shared only where necessary to provide the measurement: 

  • Demographic data (age, sex, height) 
  • Non-identifiable camera signal data
 

These are securely sent to Lifelight’s processing service solely so the measurement calculation can be performed and returned to the App. 

Lifelight does not receive your name, contact details, or any personal identifiers.
 

c. Hosting and infrastructure providers 

We use secure cloud and technology providers to operate the service. They cannot use your data for their own purposes. 

We do not: 

  • Sell your data 
  • Share your measurements with insurers, employers, or any external organisation 
  • Share identifiable data with Lifelight or any other party
 
4. Data Retention

Camera data used for the scan is processed in memory and never retained. 

Demographic data (age, sex, height) is retained only long enough to generate your measurement. 

Measurement results remain only on your device unless you choose to share them yourself.

5. Security Measures

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including: 

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest 
  • Access controls and secure SDK integration 
  • Monitoring and testing of systems to ensure data security
6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: 

  • Access your data 
  • Request correction or deletion 
  • Restrict or object to certain processing 
  • Withdraw consent

7. Children’s Data

The App is not intended for users under 18.
